This is an exciting time to work for Amarillo College! We are seeking our next Part-Time Supplemental Instructor - Truck Driving Trainer in Moore County who will be all-in on our mission and who will perform duties primarily related to the instruction of courses in assigned subject matter areas.

Requirements
EDUCATION
Required : High School Diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCE
Required : Three (3) years of truck operations experience.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
Required : Valid Class "A" commercial driver license and three-year safe driving record.
Preferred : N, S, T endorsements.

Notice : Applicants selected for employment will be required to undergo a pre-employment criminal history background check and possibly a pre-employment drug test.
Salary : Amarillo College - Salary Schedules (actx.edu) , Pay grade 10 (salary is determined by Human Resources based on education, work experience and internal comparisons).
Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time, and be able to move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to perform a wide range of mobility tasks, climbing, crawling, bending, pulling, lifting in order to demonstrate truck operation procedures.
Working Environment : Exposure to outside weather conditions. Training will occur at Amarillo College locations including Amarillo, Hereford, and Dumas where AC offers classes.
Trainings are also held on our campuses and on local streets and highways.
